На прошлой неделе произошло событие, которое хоть и не касается напрямую мира фотоаппаратуры, но мы не можем оставить его неупомянутым. Это новость о закрытии стокового агентства StockXpert.
Из сообщений на официальном форуме и электронных писем, разосланных всем подписчикам и фотографам, продававшим через сайт свои фотографии, стало известно, что со 2 февраля 2010 года StockXpert прекращает свою деятельность. После незамедлительной приостановки загрузки новых фотографий, продажи кредитов и регистрации новых членов, последует отключение 11 февраля поиска по сайту и прекращение продаж самих фотографий.
Объяснение происходящему нашлось в следующей новости, посвященной открытию нового стокового агентства Thinkstock.com, за которым как оказалось стоит Getty Images. Новый Thinkstock.com теперь наследует коллекцию изображений StockXpert и портфолио тех фотографов, которые перед этим включили в своих опциях партнерские продажи, выборочно автоматически переносится на новую площадку.
Все роялти от новых продаж “мигрированных” изображений на Thinkstock обещают перечислять на счет в StockXpert, сайт которого останется функционировать только для получения таких платежей.
Что касается подписчиков StockXpert, им предложено продолжить покупку фотографий на iStockphoto. В течение шести месяцев все кредиты, оставшиеся на SXP, могут быть перенесены на iStockphoto по курсу 1:1.

As an SXP contributor who is opted-in to subscriptions, some of your content has been migrated to Thinkstock.com. You can find your content on Thinkstock by searching for your first and last name in single quotes: ‘John Doe’. Please note that the migration is still ongoing and will take some more time to complete. If don’t see your opted-in files, be patient, they will show up eventually. StockXpert content will show up as the Hemera Collection.

Thinkstock royalties will be paid to your SXP account once a month. Despite the coming changes to StockXpert, you will still be able to access your account here for the purpose of receiving these payments. If you have any questions, please contact Support.

To transfer your credits, login to your StockXpert account and follow the instructions on the front page.
